Cowell Father Friend's Child

American Idol Mogul Simon Cowell is allegedly expecting a child with the wife of a close friend according to US Weekly.

Laura Silverman, who is 10 weeks pregnant is still the wife of Real Estate Agent Ace Silverman, who is a close friend of Cowell. Silverman plans to leave her husband to be with Cowell.

A source told US Weekly that the couple had been having issues for a while and planned on getting a divorce. The source goes on to say that as the marriage deteriorated Silverman and Cowell had become close.

Last summer, Cowell and Silverman were spotted vacationing in St. Barts. Recently the 53 year old had been in a romantic relationship with Carmen Electra, but broke it off in February.  Last year during an interview, a reporter asked the “X Factor” judge about fatherhood and he said he didn’t want to be a father.
